Thanks to all who stopped by the Local Author Book Sale during SterlingFest this Saturday July 27, 2024 !!! SterlingFest is visited by thousands every summer to take part in live music, great vendors, great food, and just plain fun. I was honored to be a part of the Rochester Writers table along with local authors J. P. Gebbie, Tom Ulicny, and Rosylyn Stearns-Brown.
Dirk Eichhorst shared a table with fellow author Danielle Bernock (author of “Because You Matter”) at the 2022 Local Author Book Sale during Sterlingfest at the Sterling Heights Public Library.
Dirk Eichhorst was the featured guest novelist at the first-ever WRITER’S NIGHT OUT hosted by Rochester Writers, where Dirk read an excerpt from his novel and shared what led to his path of publishing it as a Limited First Edition on June 22, 2022. The main guest speaker was celebrated author and editor Lisa Howard.
Dirk Eichhorst participated in a local author book signing event for INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY on April 30, 2022, at Fenton’s Open Book in Fenton, MI. This is a festive annual event that includes live music, balloon animals, and pasties! Dirk is pictured with fellow local authors Brenda Hasse and Sabrina Wagner.
Dirk Eichhorst presented a live reading of an excerpt from his debut novel, “The Tempest In Glass” on March 29, 2022, at the Sterling Heights Public Library, where other local authors shared their works at Open Mic Night! There was a meet-and greet after the readings.
“The Tempest In Glass” is the debut novel of writer-director Dirk Eichhorst. The novel by Dirk Eichhorst is an adventurous mystery-thriller with an edge of supernatural fantasy. The Limited First Edition of “The Tempest In Glass” earned excellent reviews and high praise from readers. The Limited First Edition of “The Tempest In Glass” is sold out. A second edition of “The Tempest In Glass” by Dirk Eichhorst is being planned for print, eBook, and audio book.
